The Story

Made in Pittsburgh in 1954, this cyclometer-style electric flip clock rolls the time on number drums — the direct ancestor of the seven-segment digital displays that came twenty years later. The "Tele-Vision" model name and case styling deliberately echoed mid-century television sets, when both clocks and TVs felt like serious household electronics. The factory plate on the back is date-stamped SEP 54. Plug it in next to a brass lamp and a stack of mystery paperbacks — for mid-century-design collectors, flip-clock historians, and anyone who still believes time should make a small sound at midnight.
