The Story

A barroom staple from the great age of pub-mirror reproductions — Player's Navy Cut and its sailor 'Hero' rendered under glass, framed in gold-tone wood, with the Nottingham Castle trade-mark text along the banner. The Norleans Japan foil label on the hardboard back dates it to the 1970s–80s import wave, and we say so plainly: this is a vintage reproduction, not Victorian stock, priced as the handsome bar-wall piece it is.
