Straight out of the Knoll mill chain: seven rolls of KnollTextiles “Micro” in Alabaster — a tight commercial basketweave, oatmeal-cream flecked with brown, woven of 100% recycled polyester by Interface Fabrics of Elkin, North Carolina for the Knoll Group. The mill piece label and packing ticket are still attached: pattern W4652, piece 75456008, milled May 30, 2008, 36.5 yards on the ticket. This is the fabric that covers office panels and contract furniture the world over, in the quantity a reupholstery habit dreams about — dining chairs, cornice boards, wall panels, or one very committed sectional. Sold as one lot.
