Hoffman "Easy Vision" Table Television

The Story

Early-1950s Hoffman table television (Hoffman Radio Corp., Los Angeles), with the brand's signature amber "Easy Vision" tinted safety glass over a rounded-rectangular CRT. Raised script 'Hoffman' badge on the woven grille cloth is intact and clear. All four front controls present — three maroon knobs plus a lighted/numbered tuning dial — on a brass control plate. The wood cabinet has been REPAINTED at some point: cream/off-white top, mint-green case sides; original wood-tone front fascia remains. Honest age wear throughout — paint chips and scuffs to the case, surface grime, light tarnish on the bezel, a small old sticker residue on top. Sits on a period folding tubular-metal stand (likely a later pairing, not confirmed original to the set). NO model or chassis number was legible in the available photos — model TBD; the back/chassis was not photographed clearly. UNTESTED: not powered up, function unknown — sold strictly AS-IS for display, decor, or a restoration project. Vintage tube electronics should be inspected/re-capped by a qualified tech before any attempt to power on.
