The Story

Antique Singer treadle sewing-machine cabinet with the ornate cast-iron treadle base ('SINGER' cast into the right pedal standard) and a quarter-sawn oak folding-top case with four drawers (two per side). IMPORTANT: the sewing-machine HEAD is ABSENT — the hinged well in the cabinet top is empty (only the drop-in mounting plate / lift mechanism remains), so this sells as a cabinet-and-base / repurpose furniture piece, not a working machine. Honest condition: oak shows age-darkened finish, surface wear, ring/scuff marks and some debris on the top leaves; cast iron is solid with light-to-moderate surface rust and intact scrollwork; treadle pedal grate and pitman present. No serial number or model badge was legible in the supplied photos (the head, which normally carries the serial, is not present), so the exact model/date is undetermined. Drawers run; belt/attachments not confirmed present. Untested as furniture is structurally sound; buyer to inspect. Vintage / antique era (typical of early-to-mid 20th-century Singer treadle production).
