Mid-Century • Figural Costume Jewelry
History & Provenance
A pair of fish turn nose-to-tail in textured gold, scales catching the light, set with cabochon turquoise and clear rhinestone accents and a small star at the crest. A confident mid-century figural in the manner of the great costume houses — made to sit at a lapel or collar. Viewed from the reverse, the two fish read as smooth openwork crescents with the original pin-stem and clasp intact (second photo). Condition is very good. No maker's mark — an unsigned costume piece, sold on its own merits.
